Password Based Door Locking System Using 8051 Program

Password based door lock circuit design uses five major components a microcontroller a relay a dc motor a 4 3 matrix keypad and a lcd.

If we want to use 16 keys then we need 16 pin for connection to 89s52 but in multiplexing technique we need to use only 8 pins for interfacing 16 keys. In our diy digital lock system 8051 89c51 89c52 is our intelligent unit.

All the processing s will be done by 8051 microcontroller. User can change this password anytime he she wish using a keypad. Here at89c51 microcontroller is used and it is an 8 bit controller. In this circuit we have used multiplexing technique to interface keypad to the 8051 microcontroller for entering the password in the system.

Password based door locking system. Here we are using a 4x4 keypad which has 16 keys. These techniques are an integration of mechanical and electronic devices and highly intelligent. The main concept behind this project is a door latch opening using a password entered through the keypad.

If the code matches the predefined hard coded code lock will open up and user can enter the room. We type the password using keypad which is attached with the system. Our digital code lock project is a simple electronic number lock system or an electronic combination lock using 8051 which has a preset 5 digit password stored inside the program the system collects 5 digit user input compares the user input with the preset password inside program and if the user input and stored password matches access will be granted by opening the door with the help of relay for a few seconds and closing it automatically after stipulated time.

This system demonstrates a password based door lock system using 8051 microcontroller wherein once the correct code or password is entered the door is opened and the concerned person is allowed access to the secured area.
