This is one of the most common reasons why your car door lock is not working.
Passenger side door lock won t work.
Diagnose power door locks don t work properly.
The key fob is faulty.
Usual cause the power door locks utilize individual solenoids in each of the doors that activate the door lock mechanism.
Take the passenger side over to the driver side and plug it in and try locking the doors.
If the plug for the door locks and windows are the same im not sure.
If that works then you obviously have a bad panel.
Heres a good test take the passenger front side off and the driver side off as well.
Alright so using a physical key to unlock the door isn t the end of the world but it is a slight hassle if you re used to the convenience of electric locks.
The key fob battery is dead.
The switch provides power to the door lock solenoids.
I checked all fuses even 68 relay but still could not find problem i drove 18 miles in 30 degree weather at nite got home and was very confused with this truck.
The passenger side window will not roll up or down from the drivers door switch or passengers door switch.
Also the mirror won t move.
Pop the window and door lock switch panel off the door handle.
If the battery isnâ t the problem the issue may be with the fob itself.
The passenger door will not lock from either the drivers door passengers door or key.
If you go to your car.
Unplug the door lock connectors and inspect to make sure nothing stands out.
Follow lead wire to the door lock actuator.
Symptom summary the power door locks are all inoperative or a single door lock is inoperative.
If the result of this does not yield any results continue to step 2.
The driver side window was stuck down and all door locks would not work all the other windows went up and down as they should but still no drivers window or door locks.
If one door doesnâ t work but.
Remove switch panel and inspect wiring.
A fuse is blown.
